NZ biosecurity stakeholders are aware of the various opportunities in postharvest disinfestation treatment technologies, and based on these, are able to develop research priorities, for fit-for-purpose and novel phytosanitary treatment technologies for the NZ border biosecurity system. This project will provide an overview of the current phytosanitary treatment options applied in different industries focusing on identifying scaling issues faced by different techniques and provide recommendations.
