Prioritising social research for border biosecurity (New in 2023)

International air travel is a significant way for biosecurity threats to enter Aotearoa.

In this one-year scoping project, B3 social scientists will work with groups associated with international air travel, such as Auckland Airport and its workers, mana whenua and Pasifika and surrounding communities, to co-develop a plan for research to help safeguard against imported threats entering the country via international travellers.
