Proof of concept for early and rapid detection (pre-symptomatic) of invasive pathogens using remote sensing with hyperspectral cameras using a Phytophthora in nursery model system with application in border biosecurity surveillance and eradication programmes

Science outcome

New knowledge on the efficient sampling and/or screening of plant material for detection of low levels of disease (or asymptomatic) including identification of specific hyperspectral signatures for the detection of invasive Phytophthora species in asymptomatic plants.
